Frequently asked questions.

How can I buy an original piece of art?

Great question! I am looking forward to creating more collections and releasing them periodically throughout the year. This will be well advertised before hand via social media, my blog, and mailing list.

Iā€™d like to commission a painting - how does that work?

I am currently not taking on any commissioned work but plan to focus my energy on working in collections this year. My hope is to create a large body of work throughout the year (large & small pieces) so keep an eye out! If this ever changes, I'll be sure to announce it on my email list first, so be sure to stay tuned to those emails!

How do returns work?

Every order and sale is handled with as much care, clarity & transparency as possible! I truly hope that you just love your purchase! Because of this, all sales are final except in certain situations. Please send me an email me at hello@christievaughn.com if necessary. Also - please be sure to read descriptions carefully including sizes and check colors on multiple screens for any color variations. I try my best to represent colors and tones in my work honestly and clearly.

Do you offer framing?

No but I have useful framing guide here to help you out!

How do rights to artwork work?

All original artwork and prints that I create and are sold from my shop remain as exclusive intellectual property and I retain all rights. This includes the rights to the image of sold & commissioned original paintings. I retain the right to make reproductions of any & all artwork unless the artwork has been purchased within the context of a full buyout agreement (in addition to purchasing the original). Reproduction of my artwork in any way is prohibited without prior written permission. If any artwork ends up being reproduced in a magazine or other media I only ask for credit (and big congrats on the feature!). An original painting may be displayed in your home or business but the artwork may not be resold or reproduced without my written permission.

Do you ship internationally?

At the moment, no, but hopefully one day in the future!
