Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here and welcome my little corner of the internet.
I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and attended Trinity University where I received my Bachelors in Anthropology & Studio Art before completing my Masters in Teaching. I worked as a middle school and elementary school art teacher while maintaining multiple creative side hustles — including private art lessons, commissioned paintings, and working at a local paint and sip studio.
In 2017 my dear friend and former college roommate, Kassie Manning, and I created the first ever Mass journal called Every Sacred Sunday and my life completely changed. After one year of full-time teaching and managing Every Sacred Sunday I took the leap of faith and quit my teaching job to pursue my life-long dream of working as an artist.
I now work full-time as an artist and creative director for Every Sacred Sunday, as well as writing and illustrating for various independent projects.
My work is a visual exploration of the natural world, meditating on the classic themes of life, death and resurrection. Some of my favorite things include my little pup named Peaches, Ignatian spirituality, aerial dance, and a good soup.
